KENTON COUNTY CLERK RECOGNIZES ELECTION OFFICERS

AND COMMUNITY PARTNERS FOR WORK ON ELECTIONS

“In an effort to recognize the hard work and commitment of our poll workers and community partners, I will be identifying those individuals that exemplify the American spirt and who go the extra mile to ensure a fair and efficient election.” said Gabrielle Summe, Kenton County Clerk.

Summe also said, “Many of our poll workers have worked for over 30 years and so this public thank you is long overdue.   The election process also depends heavily on the community partners who allow us to use their facilities and the personnel at these facilities that go over and above to protect our right to vote.”

The recipients will be presented a plaque before the Kenton County Fiscal Court during the months of November and December. 2015 recipients of this award include:

Claire Moriconi, who has worked the polls for over 30 years.

Daniel Gardner, who can single handedly run a precinct.

Susan Durstock, the custodian of Holmes High School, who is always on hand to make sure the precincts are set up properly and ready for voters.

Sue Hill, Clerk for the City of Crescent Springs, who helps voters get to the right precinct.
